past tense.
Do u look at the past with regret or with a smile.
Surely its easy to frown at our own mistakes, and wonder, why didn't I do this, or less of these..
but have u ever wondered why we make such mistakes. Why was it allowed to take place in the first place.
Well, becoz God allows it. Only thru it can he show his power.
Our past doesn't define the course of our future. A past is like photos. We attach our emotions in it. And it makes us partly of who we're. How we treat our past reflects how much we can accept each other and others.
I personally struggle with the past so very often, but one things often gives me hope. ---"That there's nothing I can ever do to make God love me any less. Nothing I can do to make God love me anymore."
God has accepted my past. The righteous judge has accepted it for who I'm. Who am I not accept to myself or the people around me. I who have sin, cannont cast stones against others for I'm not worthy to judge ppl and myself.
God has accepted me then, now and in the future. It does not mean I don't have to live with the consequences, but rather, it gives me hope in my identity, and my future.
Today, I prayed this prayer with my good buddy, I thank the Lord for the victory on the cross. I prayed that we'll be good stewarts of the life that has been won on the cross and I'll live it in a way that please him..from now till we meet Christ again.

Thus I don't pray to forget the past, but let the past be a testomony for God's goodness. Tat he lives, and becoz of him, I can face tomm.
