Romantic Illusion Vs True Love.

Do u agree with all these statements?

1. True love tat lasts a lifetime, takes time to develop...and if it is meant to be, it will past a test of time.

2.If you love a person more when u're together, or doubt his/her love once u're apart, maybe u've been stuck with romantic love. Becoz true love os stable, does not go up and down like tides.

3.Prolong or irrational feelings of jealousy signify possessiveness not love. Remember...(1cor13-7).. love bears all things, believe in all things,hopes all things endures all things.

4.Being companions in misery isn't by itself love, yes love lends a crying shoulder, but its beyond simply tat.

5. You should be happier and healtier if u're in true love. True love makes you want to bring out your most positive traits and bless the person, becoz your container of love is so full, it overflows to others, not just him/her.

6. Is your relationship with your parents strained. Yes, parental objection can be a factor, but if you're truly in love, the way you react towards your parents should be of love, kindness and thankfulness...regardless if they object or not.

7. Do you always fantasied abt your lover when he/she's away. Its nothing wrong when u miss someone, but do you get angry when he/she is not around. True love couples can study together comfortably, contributing to each other's happiness..becoz true love is abt blessing others..romantic illusion is abt being self-absorb and pleasing one's own cravings.

8.True love allows you to be real with the person. You don't need to put on a goody-two shoes act.

9. Do you gossip and share 'secerts' of your love? yes, its always encouraging to share your beautiful love story, but when u start flaunting it, its time for a reality check.

10. Do you feel closer(as close) to God before you started dating him/her? Ask yourself wat were you like before being in the relationship. True love will always point you towards the best, and the best is in Christ.

so are you truly in love?? I've personally experience romantic illusions mellowing into true love. But true love though wonderful, works in God's timing. Maybe its time for us to consider, are you truly in love with the person or love. When you are in love with the person, thank God for him/her...becoz nothing is of accidents..its all in his hands...
